Horror lives within the past-lived demons Angry echoes haunt these halls The dead inside will forever wander So that we’ll live on

Emerging from my slumber I can feel my blood go cold I’m not blood of the lion I’m not your ugly son I am he who walks the forests I’m blood of the bear Now roaming through the forest I stack a wall of stones Protect me from the elements Provide for me a home I’m searching for a home Within my wall of stones I’m not blood of the lion I’m not your ugly son I am born of the gods I’m blood of the bear Blood of the bear Now winter is upon me As I fumble for a light The truth somewhere in front of me To ponder this long night I fumble for the truth To entertain me in the night I’m not blood of the lion I’m not your ugly son He who hesitates is lost I’m blood of the bear Blood of the bear

Rat King 04:09
Set the campaign in motion A twisted mess of teeth and claws A foul smell demanding worship Always wanting more and more Stare into black An undulating mass of rotten souls Deaf and blind and cavorting as we Stare into black As we stare into their eyes A thousand points of light The Rat King fat with praise The Rat King has his way Always As the wheel keeps on turning Collecting more and more We can just look on We can just look on Stare into black As we stare into their eyes A thousand points of light The Rat King fat with praise The Rat King has his way Look upon it with pure malevolence Such a wonder to behold Always taking but never justified It’s immune to our laws It’s immune to us all Now look upon it, it is benevolent Such a wonder to behold Always taking and always justified It was a king to us all And now it is my god

In this world you know Come forth my son and learn with me To question everything Let go of the world you learned Everything you must assume Is probably a lie There it goes again Thankfully on you I can depend You’ll come to believe that you might be mistaken Clinging to thoughts as if they might be taken away from you It ebbs and flows with the tide As a million voices scream And try to force on you beliefs Just question everything There it goes again Thankfully on you I can depend You’ll come to believe that you might be mistaken Clinging to thoughts as though might be taken away from you It ebbs and flows with the tide You may believe that I have all the answers Perish the thought, I know that you’ll be better than me, and you Will realize this in time

The king asked for her hand, Branwen of Llyr To forge an alliance between the two islands The Isle of the Mighty and of Ireland On the night of their feast an insult was given By slicing the maiming the steeds of their guest And angered he was, the king of Ireland Look out for your kin For those who are weak You must fight for their rights Some will prey on the meek And so Bran the Blessed, brother to Branwen Giant of Wales and the Isle of the Mighty Appeased his new ally with gifts of magic and gold But back in Ireland the insult took root The king had ccrevenge by abusing his queen Branwen was made a prisoner in her new home Look out for your kin For those who are weak You must fight for their rights Some will prey on the meek Then a starling flew in from across the Irish Sea It carried a note with a sister’s plea Angered, Bran and all his men set out to sea To Ireland, and Branwen must be freed The giant Bran arose from the Irish Sea His mountainous face was twisted with hate Flanked by his fleet, a wilderness at sea He arrived Blood was shed The islands bled Thousands dead Her grief cut deep and Branwen had succumb And brother Bran was killed by poisoned spear But then his head awoke and to his men he spoke Sever the head and deliver it home Bury my head at White Hill Bury it deep and point it to sea And even in death I’ll defend my country Thus was the story of the raven and crow

This dark age in black flame Death or glory all the same Just as empires rise they’ll fall In this dark age, this dark age Monasticism filled the gaps Empiricism has collapsed The fires burn from red to black In this dark age, this dark age A hooded cult of cannibals Marching forth on captured souls Tearing down all that we know In this dark age, this dark age This dark age in black flame Death or glory all the same Just as empires rise they’ll fall In this dark age, this dark age

All around me spins the disc of Earth Beyond me is a void Moon and sun in eternal waltz Hanging low in the sky You can’t believe everything you hear Paranoia deep behind these eyes It’s alright I don’t need your permission It’s been this way for all 6,000 years It’s OK Just leave me to my dream world Cast me aside and just leave me to be An endless ocean fills the sides A glacial fortress fills the sky These walls of delusion can’t be broke Your precious truths are but a joke It’s alright I don’t need your permission It’s been this way for all 6,000 years It’s OK Just leave me to my dream world Cast me aside and just leave me to be

Blinded by blood and rage of my design When in Salem, Malleus Maleficarum With eyes that bite and a mouth that dares to speak She’s channeling Lilith, it’s the only way, it must be Female creativity, it must be an anomaly When in Salem, Malleus Maleficarum Burn her, burn her, put her to the stake and burn her Feed her, feed her, feed her to the dogs Hang her, hang her, tighten up the noose and hang her Kill her in the name of God Filled with jealousy and rage of my design The holocaust of women that I define When in Salem, Malleus Maleficarum When in Salem, Malleus Maleficarum Burn her, burn her, put her to the stake and burn her Feed her, feed her, feed her to the dogs Hang her, hang her, tighten up the noose and hang her Kill her in name of God Burn her, hang her, beat her, kill her In the name of God

I’ve looked upon those faded stones And searched the hilltops high I’ve followed phantom footprints To see if they match my own Sail across the sea for what was lost The search for answers will begin Not afraid to face the ghosts of loss At land’s end the journey will begin I have searched through every farmstead With no clue to what might have been A lifetime of love and laughter Lost in time without a hint If I see those ghosts at play Will they ever see me? Sail across the sea for what was lost The search for answers will begin Not afraid to face the ghosts of loss At land’s end the journey will begin If I see those ghosts at play Will they ever see me? Sail across the sea for what was lost The search for answers will begin Sail across the sea for what was lost The search for answers will begin Not afraid to face the ghosts of loss At land’s end the journey will begin Sail across the sea for what was lost The search for answers will begin Not afraid to face the ghosts of loss At land’s end the journey will begin
